25.01.2016Rust Fungus Coleosporium domingense

Rust Fungus Coleosporium domingense Very interesting bee activity we found. Bee on a sheet of Plumeria Frangipani tree. The flowers of this tree the bees would not attend because they do not secrete nectar. At night and in the morning otherwise emit a strong smell, which attracts (Divisions) pollinators - spinx moth, but no nectar. Bees have been observed for several days in a row on the leaves of plants, which are attacked with Rust Fungus Coleosporium domingense. Bees collect Rust Fungus and carry like pollen to the hive.

02.01.2016Sweet surprise

Sweet surprise In beekeeping with Asian bee hive with a high cover is often sweet surprise. Hives in use in Thailand, Vietnam and probably in many places in Asia have between coms and cover approximately 15 cm airspace. The same caps are also used in Cambodia in beekeeping with more honey supers. Well, if we are lucky, space bees in a short time fill free space with bee combs and honey. This is sweet surprise, we love it!

30.12.2015Italian Slovenian cooperation in Cambodia

Italian Slovenian cooperation in Cambodia A.mellifera carnica bees and A.mellifera ligustica bees jointly filled honeycomb with honey. Of course, in the same bee hive. Currently we do not have any pure family of A. mellifera carnica, but still find the individual bees and drones carnica species.
